Preach co-founded Canada's 1st annual black arts & music week, The Kalmunity Music Week, hosting acts like Smif-N-Wessun, Sa-Roc, Iba Mahr, Lady Alma, Mumu Fresh & Lewis.Brown.
Since 2003, Preach has released a series of singles & albums including Voice of the Streets & Ghetto Pop which were featured on HBO, BET & Showtime in programs such as Ray Donovan, Good Trouble, Shameless, Mohawk Girls, Claws, The Glades, Derapages & Single Ladies.
Beginning in 1996 as a 14 year old professional dancehall DJ alongside a Montreal based sound system by the name of Black Temple, Preach has spun alongside legendary DJs such as DJ Clue, Stone Love, Tony Matterhorn & David Rodigan. He would eventually find his passion flexing his lyrical prowess at local events & would go on to rocking stages at major events such as The Montreal Jazz Fest, Osheaga, IF3, House of Paint, The Irie Music Festival & Montreal Reggae Fest alongside Public Enemy, Brother Ali, Big K.R.I.T, Maestro Fresh Wes, Cali P & many more.
Recently, Preach founded & hosts The Lunchtime Takeover every Tuesday at noon on CKUT 90.3FM. He remains rooted to his community assisting in local youth based events and festivals like Hip Hop You Don't Stop & Under Pressure and is presently the director of The Kalmunity Vibe Collective.
